Story behind how Google got its name:

Larry Page and Sergey Brin are the founders of Google. Can you believe that the Google got its name because of a spelling mistake?!

When they were studying in Stanford University, they worked on a project report to build a simple online Search engine. Their aim was when someone searched for a keyword; the result should get huge number of sites. In fact, they wished for Googol number of results (Googol represents a number which is 1 followed by 100 zeroes) Therefore they wanted to name it as googol. But when they submitted their project report to an investor, the investor gave a cheque which was payable to ‘Google’ instead of Googol. So that was a spelling mistake.

But Larry and Sergey decided to keep it as Google and that’s how the name came about.

Story behind how Apple got its name:

The founder of Apple Inc, Steve Jobs first worked in an Apple Farm. When he decided to start his business, he joked with his friends that if they did not suggest a name for his company he will then name it as ‘Apple Computers’. Obviously his friends could not come out with a name and hence Steve named it as ‘Apple Computers’.

Story behind how Microsoft got its name:

Bill Gates named Microsoft from two words: “Microcomputer” and “Software”. In year 1975, Bill Gates wrote a letter to his colleague Paul Allen, he wrote as Micro-Soft. But in 1976 they registered the name Microsoft as a single name.

Story behind how Yahoo! got its name:

The first name of Yahoo! was “Jerry and David’s Guide to the World Wide Web”. In 1994 it changed its name to Yahoo!. YAHOO is the short form of the phrase “Yet Another Hierarchical Officious Oracle”. This word refers to a barbaric and uncivilized youth. The name was taken from a phrase from Jonathan Swift’s novel, Gulliver’s Travels.

Story behind how Intel got its name:

Bob Noyce and Gordon Moore are the founders of Intel. They wanted to name it as “Moore Noyce”. Later they found that there was another company with that name which ran a group of hotels. Then, they decided to look for another name. Then they were toying with the name ‘More Noise’. They thought, for a semiconductor company this name could be a wrong name. Then for the first year they used ‘NM Electronics’ as their company name. Finally, Intel got its name as a short form of INTegreated ELectorinics.

Story behind how Adobe got its name:

Adobe is the name of a river. One of the founders of Adobe, John Nack, lives in Los Altas in California. This river runs behind his house. This is how Adobe got its name.

How to delete your Facebook photos uploaded by You

Facebook is one of the most strong Social Networking site. Most of us use Facebook to upload photos and share with our friends. But some guys don't know how to delete those uploaded photos from their Facebook Album. If you worried about how to delete your photos on Facebook after uploading then follow the instructions as below:

Login to Facebook with your user E-mail address and Password
Go to that photos that you want to delete and you will see links on the right-below corner just like the below picture.

There is a link named " Delete This Photo"
Click on the link to delete the photo
After clicking you will have a confirmation small window saying "Are you sure you want to delete this photo".

Click on the 'Delete' button.
That's enough.Your photo will be deleted.

Following the above procedure you can delete photos that are uploaded by you. You can't delete the photos that are uploaded by other people.

Finally YouTube Authority has corrected the views number of their hacked video

Finally Google has corrected the views number of their hacked YouTube video Twista ft. Do Or Die-do posted by LadyMC311. In my previous article i showed the hacking symptoms with images demonstration. This YouTube fault has spread out in the top listed news and blog sites and has reached to YouTube authority. YouTube has taken quick response and corrected to the original views number. The corrected views is now 80,464 (until my views) and comments are 620. The current status of the video are in the below image:

YouTube has been Hacked: A Video has 79 Billions Views.

A YouTube Video has about 79 billions ( 79,441,058,538 views ) views that was posted by LadyMC311 on September 06, 2009. Within about 4 month the video has such huge views that is totally dazzling and unbelievable. That is a music Video nothing more about any secret behind the video. There is nothing any information about the user who posted the video. That is a real hack in YouTube obviously by the user who posted the video. The symptoms that this is a hacking are :

Simply 79,441,058,538 views within 4 months is unbelievable.

The views 79,441,058,538 is fixed. No change in it even i have observed after two views of myself on the video.
Total comments are only above 223 (until my views)

The video rating is not high so it is also not popular and there is no secret also behind the video.

There is no any details about the user who posted the video. If it would real then definitely everyone want to highlight himself and can gain popularity over the world. This is a hack because of the user details is not present so no one can identify him for this hack.

You can also visit YouTube to watch the video and observe the the issues that i have described until now. The YouTube video link is HERE.
The interesting is that , YouTube is under Google. Any person who can hack YouTube is also maybe able to hack Google in next times. But hacking a Google services is not so easy and unbelievable too.

Unblock Security Websites which are Blocked by Viruses/Worms

Have you ever been unable to get access to security websites?. This is one of the symptoms that your Computer is virus infected. You can't access to browse Security sits like McAfee, Symantec, Microsoft etc and you can't update your Security Software. So how can you get access to those Websites to remove computer viruses. Here is a simple solution, just follow the instructions:

Go to Run from Start Menu (or Press Windows Key + R )
Type CMD to open Command Prompt.
Now type NET STOP DNSCACHE and press ENTER button. If you type correctly and command work correctly, you will see " The DNS Client Service was stopped successfully". If you don't see any line like this then try this command accessing your computer as an Administrator

This command stop your DNS client services. Most viruses or worms use DNS Client Services to block security websites to update your Security System software.
Now you can update your Antivirus Software accession Security Sites and remove threads from your Computer.
To start 'DNS Client Service' again you have to type NET START DNSCACHE in the command prompt and then press ENTER. Start this services after virus removal.

Hacking to Uninstall Symantec Antivirus Client Without Password.

To Uninstall a Norton or Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition Clients in a managed network, sometimes a password prompt window is appeared. Most of us forget the password and there is no way to uninstall the client forcedly. In that critical situation you will have only a way to hack windows registry to remove the password prompt window. You have to proceed as follow:

Go to Run ( You can press Windows Key + R to open Run)
Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor
Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion\Administrator Only\Security
Here you will see a DWORD value named UseVPUninstallPassword. Double click on it and Change the value from 1 to 0 then click on OK.
Close Registry Editor.

Now try to Uninstall Symantec Antivirus and no password prompt window will appeared.

How to Delete Undeletable Files and Folders

I faces with a problem many times and that is, i can't delete some files in my computer. Have you faced before with this?. When I try to delete some error messages appear like as:

The file is in use by another program or user
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use
Cannot delete file: Access is denied

Today i want to share a trick to delete such files very easily and you will never treat such situation as problem after knowing. Follow the instructions:

Open Notepad
Click File then Save As
Browse the folder where the undeletable file is located.
Now choose "All files" from the file type box.
Select the undeletable file clicking once on that.
Now save the Notepad file (A message will appear to confirm the replacement of the deletable file.just click on yes) that replace the undeletable fiel.
Now you can delete the file as normally.

And i am sure this tips will be helpful for you. If you face any further problems deleting file then you can notify me. I will try my best.

How to open Multiple Google Talk Simultaneously in a single PC

Google Talk user, a Good news for you. Like Yahoo Messenger, you can open Multiple Google Talk and chat simultaneously. Really it is very helpful for those who like to chat with different ID. Through very simple hack you can do this. Just follow the instruction:

>> Right click ont Google Talk icon on your Desktop and go to properties.
>> Now click on Shortcut tab
>> Now you will see:
"C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe"/startmenu " in the Target box.

>> Add "/nomutex" at the end of the target box's link after a space and it finally look like as

How to open Multiple Yahoo Messenger in a single PC

On the right pane, right click and click on New then select DWORD value

Rename the new registry key as Plural

Right click on "Plural" and select "Modify". Change the cell value in "Value Data" to 1.

Microsort have decided to sell its most popular and famous OS Windows XP untill 2011. The date is probably at April 2011 as mentioned in Computer World. Microsoft planned to stop selling XP after launching Windows Vista to force people to use Vista instead of XP. But popularity of XP remains constantly 8 years after its launched. According to microsoft, this decision is being made in order to give Netbook makers more time to sell their Netbooks without forcing them into new OS Windows 7.

Although Microsoft has detailed a Netbook-Centric version of Windows 7 but most experience that Windows XP is better for low power machines like Netbook. How to create multiple emails in your Gmail account

Google always try to give something extra to their users. As a part, Gmail users now integrate more E-mail accounts to their Gmail account. Suppose, you have three E-mail accounts, one from Yahoo, second from Hotmail, and third from Gmail. The two i.e. Yahoo and Hotmail account you can integrate with your Gmail accounts and after that you can send emails from Gamil account sending as from Hotmail or Yahoo account. To integrate multiple account follow the instructions:

Login to your existing Gmail account if you don't have then create one for enjoying the integration(in this case we use pecgeniuszone@gmail.com)
Now go to Setting clicking on the Settiong link.

After that choose Accounts and Import tab from Setting windows like the below picture. Here click on the " Send mail from another address" button.

A new window will open, here you have to put the name and email address(in this case we use rakib42@gmail.com, you may use other email such as Hotmail or Yahoo mail) you would like to integrade with your existiong Gmail (pcgeniuszone@gmail.com). Then press on the "Next Step" button.

At this moment you will have a window to send verification message. Just click on the " Send verification" button. A verification message will be sent to the email address(rakib42@gmail.com) that you like to integrate with Gamil account (pcgeniuszone@gmail.com)

Now login to the the email account( rakib42@gmail.com) and open the verification message that has been sent through Gmail account(pcgeniuszone@gmail.com) and click on the confirmation link as like below picture.

A Confirmation Success window open and your email integrations is completed now.

Now whenever you send a email from your Gmail account(pcgeniuszone@gmail.com) you will have an extra box named as "From". You can choose from which you like to send the emails.

Get Windows 7 iconized taskbar in your XP, Vista

Windows 7 Taskbar has great features. One of them is the Taskbar does not show text in the application buttons, only show their icons. This is totally nice looking when you have many windows opened at the same time. This feature also saves space in Taskbar area. If you want to have the same feature in Windows XP or Vista then you can get it easily just following the steps below:

Go to RUN and type regedit and press Enter. It will open Registry Editor. Now go to the Key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

In right-side panel, create a new String value MinWidth and set its value to -255

That's it. Now Restart your computer and get ready to have iconized taskbar in your Computer.

To get the default Taskbar as it before delete the MinWidth String value and restart you computer.

Microsotf's new operating system Windows 7 has a great change in its taskbar with awesom features. The Windows 7 Taskbar is a new application-launching and window-switching mechanism that combines the functionalities from previous Windows OS Desktop mechanisms such as Quick Launch, Recent Documents, Notification area icons, desktop shortcuts, and running application windows.

New windows 7 taskbar offer Thumbnail Overview, AeroPeek, overriding the default Thumbnail icon, and surfacing tabs and documents from a Multi Tab or Documents Interface.Below is the screenshot of Windows 7 taskbar.

Taskbar display only icons and no names which is a different approach than previous.

It is possible to change the order of each icon in the taskbar which is definitely most interesting for us.

If you want to pin a application at a certain postion in the taskbar then it is also possible so that you will find it available alwayse in the same spot which was possible only in Quick launch area in previous version of OS.

Simply a right-click on an icon in the Taskbar will open a list called Jump Lists. This is aslo so interesting feature for new Taskbar. This lists offer you to access to the last used files, documents or websites you visited. Jump List also contain playing all music tracks or resuming a playlist.

System Tray of Taskbar is also in new face. After installing windows 7 only four icons are displayed named as Volume, Power, Network and Action Center. Notifications are suppressed by default but can be changed in the options just right-clicking on that. User can change icon status in the system tray from the options.

A new feature called Aero Peek is awesome really. If you moves mouse over that panel all open windows become transparent making the desktop shine through but right clicking on it will show the desktop again. When you hoevering mouse over it the Aero Peek is then in effect.

After you have run Windows XP for a while, you may receive this message when you log on: "Your password will expire in 14 days.....". By default, Windows XP is set up with passwords which will expire after 42 days. 14 days in advance, Windows will start warning you of this fact.

If you do not want your passwords to expire then follow the steps:

Go to Start > Run and in the Open: box type control userpasswords2
Select the Advanced tab in the User Accounts window
Press the Advanced button below the Advanced user management header
Select Users in the Local Users and Groups
In the right pane, right-click the user name for which you want to change the setting, and select Properties
On the General tab, check Password never expires

2.Create a new layer then proceed to draw an elliptical drop using elliptical marquee tool.

For security purpose, by default Windows Vista disables auto log-on. If you want no log-on screen during windows startup then it is possibles automatically log-on. You can easily with very few steps accomplish it.

Here are the steps:

1. Press " Windows Key" + "R" to bring out Run. You can aslo go to Run through Start menu.
2. Type " netplwiz" on the Run dialog box and then press Enter.

3. Uncheck " Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer", then click on " Apply".

4. After that you see the following dialog box, type user name and the password twice, then click "OK".

5. Now restart your comoputer and see there is no log-on screen i.e it log-on automatically.

Annoying alets or prompts is appeared often in Windows Vista. Windows Vista cosnsistently prompts you for any changes related software installtaion or system updates. We understand that these are to enhance the security in Windows Vista. Sometimes these are too much boring and disturbing when you work with some important matters. But these alert we can easily disable following the steps below.
1. Go to Start
2. The Control Panel
3. Click " User Accounts and Family Safety"

4. Then click " User Accounts"

5. After that click " Turn User Account Control on or off"

6. Finally, uncheck " Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer", and click OK

7. Done and Enjoy

Windows XP Password Hack-1

How many of you are sick and tired, of forgetting your password ( i know i am).

Today i am here to teach you. This is through safe mood and very easy. All of you understand that.

In order to go to safe mode, this is what you have to do: first log into another account, then press down on the power button.

Go to safe mode with command prompt, it is the 2nd option, move up or down with the keyboard, and press enter to choose it.

safe mode starts up, and the command prompt pops up. type down ' net user' then it will give you a list of user accounts.

if your admin account name is "Googlestuff" (for example), type down "net user Googlestuff", then it wants you to confirm the password.

With a snap of a finger, you are all set and ready to go !!!!

I hope this hack help you. Never be nervous for forgetting your password. Soon i will also write some more hacking ways if you like.

Sort Start Menu in Alphabetic Sequence

Hi friends,
When we move through start menu of our computer in Windows XP, then programs are arranged in the sequences of new software addition/installed. But you can change the order of sequence simply some doing additional work. Lets go how.

Go to Registry Editor typing regedit on the Run box.
Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Explorer\MenuOrder\Start Menu\Menu

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Explorer\MenuOrder\Start Menu2\Menu

Remove the order kye right clicking and going to delete
Now exit and enjoy alphavetic sequence in Start Menu programs.

Change the Volume Control panel Smaller

We, computer user are familiar with the volume control that is used to reduce or increase or adjust the Balance.
It is used also to mute computer sound. Volume Control has a very big figure that can be reduced in size. Sometimes it is our desired or for fun. So now walk with me to know how to do that.......

Just open your Volume Control clicking on the icon of Volume Control at the notification area of Taskbar.

After opening that just press Ctr+S to switch to the smaller size panel. And again pressing Ctr+S will switch to the larger size panel.

How to turn off Autoplay

Sometimes we face with dangerous computer viruses and can’t protect our computer to be attacked because of Autoplay option. The autoplay option allow viruses to active without clicking on them. This is so really dangerous for a computer user who don’t know about this option and they surely face most time with viruses. That is why you should disable the atoplay for your system. Lets know how. . .

Go to Run and type gpedit.msc

Now select Administrative templates then System

Now you will see an option on the right side as “ Turn off Autoplay “

Double click on that and select Enable. Change the “ Turn off Autoplay on” to “All Drives”.
Exit from Group Policy

Enjoy with no autoply from now in your computer.

Change the name of Recycle Bin to your desired name

Hi friends,

Today I will show how you can change the name “ Recycle Bin “ to your desired name.

To do this, you have to go to the Windows Registry. But be aware of any mistake in windows Registry than can create problems for your Windows.

Now follow the guidelines

Go to Start button and type regedit in the Run box and press Enter.
Now browse “HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > CLSID > {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} > ShellFolder

Change the value from “ 40 01 00 20” to “ 70 01 00 20”
Close Registry Editor and Restart your computer.
You will see the effect and now you can rename the “ Recycle Bin” to your desired name just right clicking on the “ Recycle Bin”.

If you feel any problems renaming the Recycle Bin.
